Apologies for the delayed post.

Unfortunately, it wasn't the result we were after against Footscray, with the boys falling short on the day. While the scoreline didn't go our way, the effort and commitment from the group never wavered, and there are still plenty of positives to take from the performance.

The season is far from over, and the squad remains focused on the challenges ahead. We now turn our attention to this Saturday's clash against La Trobe at our home grounds, where we'll be looking to bounce back, turn things around, and put pressure on the teams above us on the ladder.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support the club week in, week out and we hope to see you tomorrow evening. ⚽💚🖤

This Sunday, our Junior and MiniRoos teams take centre stage, with a huge day of home fixtures from 10:00am right through to the 2pm.

From our youngest MiniRoos through to our U16s, there'll be plenty of action, goals, teamwork and club spirit on display as the next generation of players represent Wyndham FC.

Come down, grab a coffee, support the canteen, and cheer on our young players as they continue their football journey.

No senior home games? No worries!

Come and watch the future of Wyndham FC take off!

The lads put in a performance to be incredibly proud of, but unfortunately it wasn't to be as we went down 2–0 to the league leaders.

The first half was a brilliant defensive display, with the boys sticking to the game plan perfectly. We also created several great opportunities and on another day could have taken the lead, but a couple of crucial decisions didn't fall our way.

The second half was just as disciplined. Unfortunately, an early corner proved costly, with their height making the difference. Chasing an equaliser right until the end, we threw everything forward, only to concede a second goal in stoppage time.

The scoreboard doesn't always tell the full story. The effort, commitment and heart shown by every single player tonight was outstanding. We walk away with our heads held high, and we couldn't be prouder of this group.

Another entertaining game for our Senior Men this weekend, with the boys coming away deserved 4-3 winners—but they certainly made us earn it!

We controlled the first half well and, with patience and quality on the ball, took a deserved 2-0 lead into the break. The second half started the same way as we extended the lead to 3-0 and looked to be cruising.

However, a penalty to the opposition midway through the half completely shifted the momentum. A lapse in composure allowed them to fight their way back and level the scores, setting up a tense finish.

Thankfully, the lads found one more gear when it mattered most, scoring a late winner to seal all three points.

Special mention to John Mathet for bagging his first hat-trick of the season. Well done lad.
