MYC Gymnastics - Western Port
KINDERGYM (2-4 & 4-5 years)
KinderGym classes are fun and act as a gentle introduction to the sport of gymnastics. The MYC KinderGym program ensures children can experience a wide range of movement activities and be encouraged to think, create, construct and solve problems with their own bodies. An accredited KinderGym Australia Leader guides each program to ass
ist children’s development, co-ordination and self-esteem.
GYM FOR ALL (4 years +)
The Gym Fun program is a structured fun-based program offering a variety of different themes starting with the fundamental gymnastics skills while building and progressing throughout the program. This program aims to build children’s skill level, body awareness and confidence in a fun and safe environment.
FreeG NINJA (4 years +)
FreeG Ninja classes see students using traditional gymnastics equipment in new ways while drawing on influences like martial arts, parkour, tricking and break dancing. Children will learn how to roll, jump and dive through, under and over a range of apparatus in non- traditional ways. All this can be achieved in a safe environment under the guidance of our FreeG qualified coaches.
FIT for ALL (4 years +) All Abilities Class
MYC offers inclusive Fit 4 All gymnastics classes for any ability level. The classes are small and combine gymnastics foundations, strength and flexibility and movement for all. Anyone, no matter your fitness level, is welcome and encouraged to try. Fit for All develops the basic skills of landing, rolling and being upside-down, while getting strong and flexible in fun and challenging ways; it is movement for life with something for all ages and all abilities. The sessions are 1hr duration and are run with the support of Special Olympics Australia.
