Footscray United Cricket Club Now welcoming cricketers of all ages, skill levels and backgrounds for the 2026/27 season! Cricket for the community.

At Footscray United we currently have 2 Teams in the VTCA who play on turf at Scovell reserve. We are also affiliated with the WSCCCA and field 2 teams on matting as well as a Sunday team which will be new to the 2022-2023 season. This season represents our 88th season since being established in 1934. We have won 6 Premierships in our First XI: 1975-76, 1977-78, 1998-99, 2010-11, 2015-16 and 2021-

22

Former players of note include former Australian test all-rounder and current Cricket Victoria CEO Tony Dodemaide as well as international test umpires Rex Whitehead and Jack Collins. We recently recruited former West Indies batsman Daren Ganga for the 2022-23 season. Located just off Ballarat Road in Maidstone. Throughout the years many sports have been played including cricket, soccer, basketball, golf, quoits and fishing. Presently we are best known for our cricket program. The club's committee is developing an ambitious 5-year business plan designed to secure our future as one of the leading clubs in the area.
