2026 Sydney Marathon
My 1st Abbott World Marathon Major

I finally got my first WMM medal and star!

God knows how hard I wanted to achieve this major feat.

I struggled with major setbacks after setbacks right from the early weeks up to the final week of training. It took a great deal of my physical and mental strength to endure, from the training and even during the race; digging deep down for the extra motivation and determination to do what I thought a few months ago would have been impossible.

This was never an easy pursuit from the start, but that is the point of this race, which makes it even more memorable and inspirational for me.

“Fall seven times, stand up eight”
(8-star WMM medals perhaps?!😂)

Hoping that one days this too can inspire .

Congratulations to all CCM Finishers!

We made it through the training programs, the race (including CCLEX) and even the Medal claiming fiasco! Now let’s celebrate the wins!
