The de Been name is at the forefront of Australian Jiu Jitsu, establishing Australia's first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy in Pete's garage in 1993. With a rich history, the de Been family continues to create new inroads into this growing sport - forging new techniques, innovative concepts, and great individuals in the process. Our BJJ competition team remains undefeated in all nineteen Victorian State championships and all fourteen Pan Pacific Championships. Attaining the greatest heights in Australian Competition, Team de Been 100% Jiu Jitsu is recognised by all as the number one team in the Pacific Region.
