Malvern Baseball Club was founded in 1898 and is located on Glenferrie Rd in Kooyong. Currently the club has teams in the mens and junior competitions, with juniors ranging from our Friday night Little League and Junior League teams, to Sunday morning teams for Little League, Junior League, and Under 18s. Senior men play on Sunday afternoons, with the firsts also playing midweek fixtures. Our juni

or players at Malvern have an opportunity to play on Friday nights and/or Sunday mornings. This allows flexibility for families with other sporting or family commitments. We foster inclusion regardless of ability. Young girls compete with boys in our junior teams. We can have up to 15 players in a team at any one time. This ensures that every child who wishes to play is able to. So come to a training session on a Tuesday evening from 5.00pm and we will look after you and ensure you get game time.

VALE JOAN WINFIELD
It is with great sadness that we share the news that Joan Winfield, the beloved wife of Malvern Life Member and Club Historian Norm Winfield, passed away yesterday morning after a long illness.

Joan was a frequent fixture at our club as she loved to follow her husband Norm's baseball career. Our Junior Development Award is named in honour of Norm, recognising both Norm and Joan's significant contributions to our baseball club, especially with regard to juniors.

On behalf of the entire Malvern Braves family, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Norm and the extended family during this very difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them, and we hope they find comfort, strength, and peace in the days ahead.
