Davey Black Performance is a Triathlon Club, Fitness Studio, Yoga Studio, Physiotherapist and Counsellor for all levels of athlete. We use the 4Q training methodology to help you move better, get fitter and stay healthy. Our coaches are highly qualified and leaders in their field, but they never forget where they started. All members of all levels of fitness are welcomed with open arms and coached with just as much attention as every other member of the Davey Black Fitness Team.

GEELONG 70.3 - 24 MAR
Sam O’Brien - 74th place in his first 70.3 in only his 4th ever triathlon, Sam came away with a PB swim and a great time for a first dip at 70.3 distance.
Richard Dunlop - 24th place with a PB swim and the 8th fastest T1 split for the day.
Laura Nathan - 16th place with a big swim PB, 4th fastest T1 and 6th fastest T2.
Jencie Francisco - 36th place in her first ever 70.3 distance race. Jencie swam a PB time over any previous distance and a PB bike time for 90km for any previous ride over a sprint distance. mazing race, well done!
Coach Chrissie Straw - Chrissie had a huge swim with almost a PB time over any distance and a 5th place for the split in her first attempt at a 70.3 distance race. Unfortunately, an injury we were managing flared up too much and we pulled the pin to avoid any damage.
Sarah McLeod - 10th place in her first big hit-out in several years. Sarah raced smart with a 5th fastest T1 and 6th fastest T2.
Ryan Harrod - Went in underdone and just did the race for a good day out. Still managed a PB swim time for the actual distance swam!! 
Sam Dawson - 2nd place in the Aquabike with both PB swim and bike splits.
Maike Wolf - 1st place, exiting the water in 8th Maike spent the rest of the day out front with another strong performance.

SPRING 360 3HR RELAY RUN (BULGARIA) - 17 MAR
Boris Sarabeev - 3rd place for Boris and his two team mates. Each individual ran for 2hrs, and team Boris clocked up 78km with Boris accumulating 25 of those kilometers. Great teamwork!

 RUN FOR THE KIDS - 17 MAR
Joe Massey ran a PB time for the 14km
Lauren Jones got the job done despite some health issues leading in.

2XU R6 - 24 MAR
Joe Massey - 29th place with huge PB’s in the swim and bike legs, and massive improvements through both transitions!
Niamh Bracken - 17th place in her first sprint distance race. In only her second ever triathlon Niamh finished with PB bike and run splits.
Stu Muntz - 7th place with a PB swim and very close to a PB bike, then brought it home strong with a 4th place run split!
Ellen Hanratty - 3rd place in First Timers stepping up to the Olympic Distance in only her second ever triathlon. PB swim and bike splits were the icing on the cake!
Mick Scanlon - 30th place with a huge 10min PB for the race distance improving his swim, bike and run times significantly from his last race in Jan.
Coach Hugh Kerr - 8th place with a PB swim time and a flying 3rd place bike split!
Jesse Vincent - 21st place in her second ever triathlon with PB swim, bike and run times and keeping her amazing transition record in tact with 10th place T1 and 12th place T2

All of our athletes had great swims in very choppy conditions with the Brighton to Elwood and Great Bayside swims taking place on the day. A perfect training day for the remainder of the tri season.

A big thanks to Jesse for ferrying people and equipment between start and finish line and everywhere in between!
