Melbourne Taekwondo Centre is one of the oldest Taekwondo clubs in Australia, being founded in Victorian in 1963 by our Chief Instructor, Jack Rozinszky. Grand Master Rozinszky, who was the first Australian to attain Black Belt, is now a 9th Dan Black Belt, making him one of the highest ranked practitioners of Taekwondo in the world. Grand Master Rozinszky was also inducted into the World Taekwondo Hall of Fame as a pioneer of Taekwondo. We teach the ancient Korean martial art of Taekwondo in a practical and modern way that is both fun and a great physical workout. Come join us and find out why!

A hugely successful China campaign for our MTC seniors. China Open: 7 athletes competing with 2 athletes into the quarter finals and 1 semi finals bronze medal. Women’s world open with 3 MTC athletes competing with 1 athlete into the second round of this very high level event. A fantastic result from our club team competing against numerous national team athletes.

Congratulations to the MTC senior team athletes that competed in the 2026 China Open. Our team of 7 athletes competed extremely well against some of the world’s best Taekwondo athletes. A special congratulations to Saskia who achieved a bronze medal at this event.
