Having super high expectations or too many walls for someone to get through may feel like a good system to figure out who to trust or who to keep close. In actual fact it does the opposite, it pushes others away and stops any relationship from truly having trust and flourishing into something great.

The easy way out is to never trust anyone and never allow anyone in, but it is also an extremely lonely way out too.

The challenges you see on day 1 can seem massive, but they are only day 1 challenges after all. When we look into the future the challenges can seem mountainous and impossible to overcome.

But remember that on day 100 you have 100 days of experience and momentum, day 100 is exactly te same as day 1, except it's day 100.

And vice versa day 1 can seem massive in some cases, but the same stands, at day 100 you have 100 days of experience, so the challenge will be just like day 1.

The size of the challenge is relative to the length of the journey

The world has changed!

It has always changed, for better and for worse.

The one thing we can absolutely have certainty in is that the world is going to change and will continue to do so long after we are gone.

Adaptability is now the most important skill to possess.

Gone are the days of just being able to lift heavy things, fight dangerous things and provide the winnings of the hunt to the tribe.

These days you NEED to be able to think fast and think smart or you will be left behind.

Mental fitness trumps all, if you don't get into the mental gym, then you are going to be mentally unfit.

We are in quite a state right now, the world in pain. I see it, I feel it, but... it can be so much worse than it is, no matter what you are going through. You might have lost a job, or maybe you feel alone in lockdown/quarantine, maybe your had to shut your business down. All of these horrible things, now imagine you lost an arm or a leg or you became homeless, or heck you become a bitter sinister person that just hates the world and takes no responsibility... way worse. Contrast is everything.
