Established in 1864, the Lilydale Cricket Club has a rich history as being one of the oldest cricket clubs in Victoria. We are located 40km East of Melbourne in the picturesque Yarra Valley, and are affiliated with the Ringwood & District Cricket Association (RDCA). Boasting great facilities, our clubrooms and pavilion overlook side-by-side home grounds at Lilydale Reserve plus secondary ovals at Gateway Reserve and Kinley Estate Oval. We currently field 5 senior men’s teams, 1 senior women’s team, 6 junior boys and girls teams, and a Woolworths junior blasters program. Our senior men’s First XI competes in the Lindsay Trollope Shield - the competition's top premier grade. BROWELLER AND HANDSY's RE-COMMIT

The finest head of hair the Yarra Valley has ever seen will be back in Blue and Yellow for season 2026/27. After some monster spells in last years finals series, the twos boys will be over the moon to have their favourite Unc back and better than ever.

Meanwhile after getting a sniff of finals (rare for a dons fan) last year in the 2’s, our fearless third XI captain will be back in charge of the troops at the gateway. Who nose how high the 3rd XI may fly this year!!

Not long now until we hit the nets and get back into the full swing of the 26/27 LCC Cricket Season! 🏏

Registrations are now open on Play HQ for all Senior, Junior and Blasters players, with discounted fees available until September 1st.

KIERAN HANLEY RETURNS

Huge news out of Falconville, as former 3rd XI premiership captain Kiz Hanley returns for season 2026/27.

After a season away, our workhorse will be back running a muck at K Hanley Reserve (formerly known as The Gateway). The club is delighted to have Kiz back on board for the upcoming year.

The Lilydale Cricket Club’s 2026/27 season is officially underway.

The vibe is building, and I’m sure you’re all missing cricket as much as I am!

You may have noticed our outstanding media team pumping out some fantastic content over the off-season. A huge thank you to Mitchy, Jussy and Lingers – amazing work, lads! 👏

JARRYD GASKIN RE-SIGNED

Some say James Hirds potential return to Essendon is the biggest news story of the year, but clearly that haven't heard that Gasky will be heading back to Lilydale for season 2026/2027!!!!

One of the hardest workers at the club and all class behind the stumps, the club is thrilled to have our favourite left hand bat back for the upcoming season.

MITCH EBEYER RE SIGNED

The club is thrilled to annouce Mitch from SEN is back at the dales for season 2026/27!!!

One of the great contributors across the journey, Mitch is a classy bat capable of making a big impact from any where in the order paired with some of the best fielding the comp has to offer. Now also a fiesty strike bolwer, Ebey loves a wicket, but not as much as we love having him back on board for next year.

Lilydale Cricket Club is proud to support Xavier Spencer-Welch as he takes on an incredible Ultra Marathon on August 30 to raise awareness and funds for Men’s Mental Health and The Shaka Project.

This challenge is about more than just running the distance. It’s about starting conversations, breaking down stigma, and reminding blokes that it’s okay to speak up and ask for help. The Shaka Project exists to ignite conversations around mental health and su***de prevention, helping create positive change in communities across Australia.

We encourage our cricket community and beyond to get behind Xave, follow his journey, and support this important cause however you can. Any donations are greatly appreciated.

MICHAEL AND LIAM HARTIGAN RECOMMIT

Father and son duo Michael and Liam Hartigan will be back in blue for season 26/27.

Michael has been a do it all man at the club these past few years, acting as the clubs secretary and vice president all whilst leading our 4th XI.

Michael has been an integral part of the clubs junior development, one of which being his son Liam who has been steady improver with both bat and ball.

The club is thrilled to have the Hartigans back on board for this season!!!
