Authority must act impartially, they must treat one the same as the other, failure to do so builds distrust and resentment.

Personally I'd like to see policing go back to a time where police forces weren't completely politicised.

I'd rather police focus on the basics, keeping people safe and catching crooks.

The 7-second cold wrist rinse was tested on 3,000 soldiers after combat simulations.

Cortisol dropped 52% within 90 seconds. Heart rate fell an average of 22 beats per minute. The Navy classified the protocol in 2009 and kept it secret until 2023.

The mechanism is radial artery cooling. Your inner wrists have the thinnest skin and the largest surface-to-volume ratio for blood vessels. 7 seconds of cold water cools the blood passing to your brain, which signals your hypothalamus to downregulate stress instantly

You've splashed cold water on your face. You've taken cold showers. Both work, but they're inconvenient.

The SEAL protocol takes 7 seconds, requires no un******ng, and can be done at any sink. Soldiers used it before night missions to fall asleep fast.

The military classified this because a free 7-second stress fix would reduce demand for combat stress medication ($400M annually).

The 2023 declassification came after a FOIA lawsuit filed by a veteran.

The fix: run cold tap water over your inner wrists for 7 seconds. Both wrists. Do it when you feel a stress spike.

Within 90 seconds, your heart rate will drop. No shower, no ice.

Just 7 seconds.

This is the reality of the evil that is out there.

Are you willing to acknowledge this depravity?

Are you prepared in how to defend yourself and others against it?

23 year old Sudanese migrant Abubaker Mohamad Awad, stabbed 19 year old Tommie Lindhn to death in his own apartment in Härnösand, Sweden after Lindhn tried to stop Awad from ra**ng a Swedish girl at knife point.

After killing Tommie, Awad continued to r**e the young girl next to Tommies dead body.

The Sudanese migrant had already previously been convicted of several crimes, including sexual harassment, drug offences & shoplifting.

Had he been deported, Tommie would still be alive.

The media painted Tommie as Far Right, implied he was racist & that his life didn’t matter.

I hear it a lot about carrying weapons.

Carrying a knife does not make you safer and I'll explain why.

Firstly carrying a knife is illegal, so people keep them in pockets, bottoms of bags wrapped on or under a jumper etc, this makes the weapon almost all but inaccessible under stress. Most attacks are by surprise, under stress you lose the ability to make complex decisions, you wont even think to look for the knife.

Another aspect as per above is the for it to be useful it means it must already be in your hand. To use a knife would be a potential deadly force encounter, we are talking about a very serious situation, if you have the knife in your hand you've anticipated trouble, so one would start to question if you have anticipated trouble why haven't you already left the area?

Another aspect is if you drop the knife and it gets used against you, which is always a possibility.

The reality is carrying a knife may make you feel safer but doesn't make you safer, especially if it is hidden away.

My advice would be don't carry the knife, adhere to local laws and first and foremost rely on your situational awareness and risk assessments, make good choices, if you see trouble try to avoid it by leaving early. If you ever find yourself in a situation where you have to use a knife you have made errors in many steps that could have been taken before hand to stay safe prior to that time
