I am sick of coaches being told that they need to fix their headline hooks or download an AI prompt pack that promises the world. The problem is not marketing; it's what you are selling or asking the prospect to do that is creating a void in your business.
I have assessed over 500 coaching and consulting businesses, and I can tell you that 95% don't have tangible assets in their business, and almost all ask the prospect to do all the heavy lifting.
Webinars, PDF downloads and courses died in 2022. I know that is hard to digest, but when ChatGPT came into our reality, consumer behaviour changed.
I have been 100% focused on building assets for my clients since 2015 and have not changed my focus.
It's not sexy or glamorous, but it's the difference between a business that barely survives and one that thrives.
And, in 2026, your coaching business can thrive, but without assets, it's very hard to compete with those that are building solutions that deliver outcomes and results immediately.
Today, every touchpoint in your business has to deliver a tangible outcome and result. If it doesn't, you will be in the "too hard" basket, and the result is a compromised brand.
This is why, despite how much effort you invest in your headline hooks, mastering your scripts for your IG reels or your LinkedIn posts, nothing is working.
Assets give you leads and sales. Period.
It has nothing to do with AI prompts or mastering headline hooks - again, this is an old paradigm based on scarcity.
Please stop and think about what you are asking from your prospect, because you need to approach your business completely differently than ever before.
