Ahoy, mateys!
Yesterday the crew set sail for the Pirate Ship in Seaford, where Southern Districts Rugby Club served up fair winds, calm seas, and a battle that was fast, fierce, and free-flowing.
A hearty thank ye to "Sir" Karl Dix, master of the whistle, for piping a fine tune throughout the contest and letting the game flow like a fresh tide.
'Twas grand to see a healthy bunch of new deckhands take the field, bringing us ever closer to club-versus-club battles once more, something we haven't enjoyed since the dark days of the COVID plague.
Once the final cannon fired, the crew gathered below deck where one, two, or perhaps three ales were hoisted, washed down with curries so tasty they'd make a pirate abandon his treasure.
Our next voyage takes us to Bayside on 13 June for our Men's Health Round. Mark it on your charts, gather your crew, and prepare for another cracking day of rugby.
Fair winds and following seas until then! β οΈππ»
