At AATC, we help coaches understand the why behind the what — from technique, biomechanics and communication to session planning, player development and actually looking like you meant to do that drill.

🎾 Welcome Coach Shantanu Rajput 🇦🇺

We are excited to welcome Coach Shan to Australia and to the AATC and Elite Tennis Academy coaching team.

Shan is a high performance tennis coach with more than 15 years of experience in competitive tennis and athlete development. Throughout his career, he has coached across China, India, and Malaysia, working with players ranging from beginner juniors through to athletes competing internationally.

His coaching focuses on technical and tactical development, tournament preparation, match analysis, and creating structured training environments that allow players to improve consistently over time. Alongside leading squads and private coaching programs, Shan is passionate about helping athletes develop discipline, confidence, mindset, and long term growth both on and off the court.

Known for being approachable, detail-oriented, and deeply invested in his players, we know Shan will make a fantastic contribution to our coaching environment and community.

Vinay… our very own biomechanical freak 😅🔥🎾

It’s pushing nearly 50 degrees in Kolkata, yet somehow he is still out there demonstrating movement patterns, plyometrics, footwork and biomechanics like the heat doesn’t exist.
While most of us are searching for shade, ice baths and electrolytes, Vinay is still bouncing around the court explaining kinetic chains, balance, recovery steps and explosive movement with elite energy levels 💪☀️

The passion, knowledge and commitment he brings to coach education is outstanding, and the participants have absolutely loved the practical, hands-on learning experience.
Safe to say the heat in Kolkata has met its match 🌶️🔥

First morning action underway at the AATC Tennis Coaching Course in Kolkata 🇮🇳🎾
The energy has been fantastic, the courts are buzzing, and the temperature… well… let’s just say it’s hotter than a vindaloo with extra chilli 🌶️🔥😅
Despite the heat, our coaches have brought outstanding enthusiasm, great questions and plenty of effort to the opening sessions. Hydration levels are high, shirts are already soaked, and the learning is flowing both on and off the court.
A huge welcome again to all participants. We are looking forward to helping develop the next generation of tennis coaches in India.

🎾🔥 Meet the coaches from this weekend’s course in Kolkata! 🇮🇳

From the very first session, the energy, enthusiasm and passion for learning have been absolutely incredible. Despite the heat trying its best to test everyone (seriously… Kolkata turned the thermostat up to “vindaloo” 🌶️🥵), these coaches kept showing up with smiles, determination and a real hunger to improve.

Across the weekend we’ve seen:

✅ Huge effort on court
✅ Fantastic teamwork and support
✅ Coaches stepping outside their comfort zones
✅ Plenty of laughs, learning and high-level discussions
✅ A genuine commitment to growing the game of tennis in India 🇮🇳🎾

We are extremely proud of every participant involved. The future of coaching in India is in great hands with passionate coaches like these leading the way.

Congratulations to all coaches who successfully completed the AATC Advanced Tennis Coaching Course in Kolkata 🇮🇳🎾

Over the course, participants immersed themselves in intensive practical and theoretical learning, covering areas such as:
🎾 Advanced coaching principles
🎾 Movement and biomechanics
🎾 Error detection and correction
🎾 Feeding and drill progression
🎾 Matchplay and tactical development
🎾 Communication and player management
🎾 Fitness and plyometric concepts
🎾 Junior development and on-court delivery

The dedication, enthusiasm and resilience shown by the group was outstanding, especially while working through the extreme Kolkata heat 🔥☀️

We are incredibly proud of every coach who challenged themselves, embraced the learning environment and continued striving to improve both personally and professionally.

This course was about more than just coaching tennis. It was about building confidence, leadership, opportunity and a stronger coaching community for the future of the game.
