Melbourne Coffee Cart is here a setting up for a if day of racing at the 2024 Frankston Gift

Who is up and about already hearing up for a great days racing at the 2024 Frankston Gift?

The weather is going to be great

The running surface is looking fantastic (our thanks to the turf team at Frankston City Council

And Spectator entry is free

Don't forget -

Entry is via the High Street entry only
Programmes are $5
Raffle tickets are $5 (and either more prizes donated overnight it is going to be well worth buying a ticket or 2)
Coffee vendor will be onsite, and
Rotary Peninsula 2.0 rotary will again be running their BBQ with proceeds going back into the local community.

So, looking for something to do, head on down to Kinetic stadium for a great days racing.

Now that The Rye Gift has been Run and Won, attention turns to this Saturday's (20th January 2024) running of the Frankston Gift

With records showing a Frankston Gift being run as early as New Years Day in 1881, the Frankston Gift is nearly as old as the combined ages of Victorian Athletic League Inc Director MJ Boyesy (Mathew Boyes) and Chief handicapper Civil Celebrant - Colin Lane,

This is an event rich in history that is not to miss.

Frankston Athletic Club is saddened to hear of the sudden passing this morning of Peta Murphy MP Federal Member for Dunkley

Peta has been a great supporter of the Frankston Athletic Club and Frankston Gift over many years and she will be sadly missed
