Alot of great Football on this weekend!

Our Women’s Super 35’s League Masters Women vs Mount Martha Soccer Club on Saturday afternoon!

Then on Sunday we have our Seniors Womens SL6 team back at Home vs Bentleigh United Cobras FC.

Followed by Masters Women Social vs Bentleigh Typhoons then we conclude the day with our O45s Masters Men vs Croydon Rangers SC

WOW!!!

Chelsea FC held its FIRST and its OWN Female Football Week ..and what a huge weekend it was!

We celebrated all our Girls and Ladies at Chelsea FC this weekend by centralising ALL our female games down at ROYAL BLUE HQ over this jam packed weekend!

It started with a bang on Friday Night with our Sub Junior and Junior players being Mascots to our Seniors Women SL2 and a strong 4.2 win against Malvern City Football Club

On Saturday we had fun with our Purple Glam Up at Goalkick.

Then we concluded on Sunday with big festa event and a monster schedule of high quality games ranging from our U8 Little Legends Girls team to all the way up to our Masters Women with a 2.1 Win!!

With food trucks, football, jumping castle and awesome activities like Porta Putts (which the kids loved!) it was a wonderful day!

Oh dont forget our superstar POTM and a full Clubroom to watch the Socceroos too!!

Thank you to putts for their contribution to the day!! 🙏

And another massive big THANK YOU to all the Committee members and parents who helped planned this and took part on the day💙🙏

Chelsea FC held its Fundraiser Poker Night last night.

The first social night of the season in which all came down to have a drink, some laughs , some yummy pizza and a bit of a flutter.

The first timers and the hustlers had some fun and it was a fantastic night.

Well done to all the winners! 🏆

OUR Female Football Week continued yesterday at our Goal Kick Program with a Purple Glam up day!

Everyone got in the spirit with their splash of purple and enjoyed a cupcake after the session. 💜

The kids and GK Assistant Coaches loved it!!

We carry on today with a massive load of Girls and Womens games all centralised at ROYAL BLUE HQ with food and events on!

Thanks to Porta Putts for supplying some of their awesome activities today. Check them out!!

Then we conclude by watching the Socceroos on the big screen upstairs in the Clubrooms!

⚽️FEMALE FOOTBALL WEEK LAUNCH!⚽️

Senior Women SL2 Match Report – Round 7

Round 7 saw us at ROYAL BLUE HQ to begin OUR Female Football Week against Malvern City FC in an exciting contest.

Malvern opened the scoring before Kara found the back of the net to level things up. In the second half, relentless pressure from Kara forced a Malvern own goal, putting Chelsea ahead 2-1. Malvern responded with another goal to make it 2-2, but Shanelle stepped up to restore our lead at 3-2.

To cap off a fantastic team performance, Jazz sealed the win with a superb free kick.

Goal scorers: Kara, Shanelle, Jazz, plus one own goal.

A hard-fought 4-2 win and a great result at home.

Big shout out to our super Sub Junior/Junior Girls being mascots pre game to walk out with our Ladies 💙

At Chelsea FC we are proudly building a strong female pathway. Nurturing the next generation of footballers and female Referees, from our Goalkick program, Referee Junior Program, Community Girls Teams, Community Premier League (CPL) teams and our two promoted Senior Women’s teams.

Join us this Sunday for FUN-DAY!

All girls and Ladies games centralised at ROYAL BLUE HQ to celebrate OUR Female Football Week!! ⚽️

Bring down the family for a gala day of football, face painting football darts, food trucks, coffee van, penalty shoot out, mini golf and lots more!

The fun starts from 9am - 3pm!
