Coach JY

Coach JY Helping men win the fight in the real Arena that is 'LIFE' because nothing hits as hard. As far as I can remember, I have always had a desire to help people.

To make them feel good, feel happy and to believe in themselves. By the time I was ten years old, I had already experienced two wars and lived in 3 different countries. Born in a war-torn Iraq in 1981 to a Christian family, my family and I were forced to migrate to neighboring Turkey where we would live as refugees in refugee camps and temporary accommodation. 3 years later we would make our way t

o Australia which I am now blessed to call home. With no extended family, friends or spoken English, I now had to re-establish my identity and develop a new personality so that I could thrive and make the most of this opportunity I was so blessed to receive. Luckily, this was easy for me as I am a very quick learner and can easily adapt to any environment. As a young adult, I had vouched to myself to never settle for being average or poor. I would work hard at every opportunity that was presented to me or that which I created for myself. Being a refugee and coming from nothing has given me a drive and hunger that has been responsible for so many trials and tribulations, mistakes, misfortunes, failures, regrets, addictions (many of them), and pain. It is also this drive and hunger that has taken me around the world, allowed me to meet and mingle with people of all caliber, helped many in need, raise thousands for charity, be involved directly or indirectly in over 15 different business and startups, driven many nice cars, travelled first class, stayed in 6 star resorts, married the girl of my dreams and created a beautiful family; all this before I was 30 years Old. While there have been many ups and downs in my life, two things have remained consistent:

1.The burning and sometimes annoying desire to be better than I was yesterday and

2.The desire to share my knowledge and experience to help others. I truly and with all my heart believe that my one purpose in life and the reason for my existence is to make people happy, strong and to believe in themselves so they can live their best lives. I am JY the Catalyst.

You can’t scale authenticity.

Most gyms chase numbers.
But I’d rather chase the right members.

Men who believe in the values.
Men who respect the room.
Men who understand that this is bigger than training.

Every man in this photo has a story.

A goal.
A setback.
A win.
A failure.
A reason why he walked through the door.

And the truth is, I know most of those stories personally.

That’s what makes this real.

This isn’t about packing a room just to say we’re growing.
This is about building something genuine.
A place where men are seen, challenged, supported, and reminded of what they’re capable of.

Whether I’m directly coaching a man, checking in on him, or just watching him fight his way back one session at a time, I care.

I care about the goals.
I care about the standards.
I care about the man behind the gloves.

Because real change doesn’t happen in a crowd.
It happens in a circle.

And if you’re in this circle, I need to know you and you need to know me.

That’s how trust is built.
That’s how brotherhood is built.
That’s how men are forged.

At the Forge, we’re not chasing numbers.

Discipline is what gets results not motivation. Motivation only sparks the drive, discipline keep you doing the fkng work.
Find you why and watch discipline take over.
If the why is strong enough, the how becomes easy.

Now stop wasting time waiting for motivation.

“What the future holds for you depends on your state of consciousness today.”

To me, that means the future isn’t some place far away waiting for you.

The future is being built right now.

In the way you think.
The way you speak.
The way you handle pressure.
The way you treat people.
The way you show up when no one is watching.

Your future doesn’t begin tomorrow.
It begins with the state you are living in today.

If you move through today angry, distracted, lazy, bitter or full of ego, don’t be surprised when your future reflects that back to you.

But if you move through today with discipline, awareness, humility, gratitude and purpose, then you are already creating a better future.

Most people want a new life, but they keep bringing the same old consciousness into every new day.

New future requires a new state.

So before you ask what the future holds, ask yourself:

Who am I being today?

Because that answer is already shaping what’s coming.

Less time talking and more time working…

Don’t complain if you ain’t doing the work, you haven’t earned that right…

The future is now homeboy, let’s get urgent and priorities what’s actually important.

05/05/2026

If not now when….If not you then who.

Time to get urgent. No one is coming to save you homie. Better get moving.

That’s why I choose to , that way I don’t have to get moving. I’m already in motion which means I’m always ahead.

A2. Clean squat to press x 5
A3. Bent over Rows x 10

Finish with 1 set of dips to failure for an insane pump.

I used to think the best way to start the day was a gruelling workout, running off adrenaline, caffeine and pure force.

Don’t get me wrong… there’s a time to push hard.

But these days, I’m learning there’s also strength in slowing down.

A nature walk.
Fresh air.
Clear thoughts.
Breathing in positive energy before the world starts asking for yours.

Sometimes discipline isn’t about smashing yourself.

Sometimes discipline is choosing peace before pressure.

Train hard when it’s time.
But don’t forget to breathe, reset and protect your energy.

Strength isn’t always loud.

Sometimes it’s quiet steps, early morning air, and a calm mind ready for war.
