A rule from one of our past students, Daniel Burgess.

Daniel was in bed for three days. Could not get up. Two kids under five, a redundancy behind him, no plan in front of him, and the kind of doubt that tells you to go back to the corporate job and forget the whole thing.

So he made himself a rule.

๐Ž๐ง๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐จ๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ ๐›๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐›๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ. ๐‰๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐จ๐ง๐ž. ๐“๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ฐ๐š๐ฌ ๐ž๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฆ๐š๐ค๐ž ๐ข๐ญ ๐š ๐ ๐จ๐จ๐ ๐๐š๐ฒ.

Some days he did one thing. Some days ten. But the one thing was the floor, and the floor was always there.

Eleven years later, Daniel coaches men on breakthrough journeys up mountains in the dark. He stands on stages in front of thousands. โœจ

He did not do it by thinking better.

He did it by taking one action a day for long enough that the doubt eventually ran out of ways to stop him. ๐Ÿ”ฅ
