Gael already locked up that corporate job after his tennis career is over 💼

In his post match presser after his 2nd round loss to Learner Tien he talked about his plans:

“My next chapter is looking more in an office and working in finance. I will always have a look on tennis because I love the sport, my wife’s playing. I don’t think next year I will do so much about tennis. I’ll be around no matter what, for Elina a little bit, but I’ll be more of a finance guy.”

Aryna Sabalenka was forced to interrupt her 3rd round match at the US Open after complaining to the chair umpire about the strong smell of ma*****na coming from the stands 👀

The incident occurred during the third game of her match against Kamila Rakhimova, with Sabalenka leading 30-0, she turned towards the umpire and pointed out that someone in the crowd appeared to be smoking w**d 😅

Despite the delay, Aryna won in straight sets and advanced to the 4th round winning her 16 straight match at the US Open.

Aryna was not having it when a reporter asked about how the mood shifts from pre-tournament events or “parties” and how it is when the tournament starts:

Reporter: “How are you finding your mood now that the tournament has started? Obviously last week it’s lots of parties and fun and stuff like that.”
Aryna: “You guys are like a joke. Parties. Fun. Why would you even say that? Why would you even think about that? Like, what kind of question is that? Just because I posted some activities with brands and you think that I’ve been partying?”
Reporter: “I’m not suggesting you were partying… I’m saying there are a lot of events and things like that. I’m not saying you go to the parties.”
Aryna: “You literally said that.”
Reporter: “Excuse me? For everyone who’s unclear, I’m not suggesting that Aryna is having fun at these parties. I’m saying she makes a lot of appearances and there’s a lot to do...Now that the tournaments started, do you find you’re getting quite serious and combative?”
Aryna: “Oh yeah, I wasn’t serious before that. Next question. Think before you say stuff.”
