Manmohini Indian Dance School

Mohini is a Master’s degree holder in Indian Clasical Dance (Kathak) from Pune University India. around 3 months. M.P. Mr. Hong Lim in presence of Hon.

During tertiary education she has worked in Nrityabharati Kathak Dance Academy, (Pune ,India) with students of different age groups as a part of her curriculum. Performed all over India including Delhi,Mumbai,Pune,Ahmedabad with Group for Kathak ballet named “Srushti ” created out of Eco-awareness. She has also performed Solo and Duets at different cities of India. Her final year research project

of “Role of dance in overall development of children” has helped her in her role as a dance teacher. After completing Masters from India, Mohini moved to Geelong and started working independently as Director of Manmohini Indian Dance School. She also worked for Geelong council/Diversitat as a dance performer. She got the opportunity to teach around 400 kids of St Anthony’s Catholic primary school (Noble Park Victoria) over a time span of one school term, i.e. During this time she was solely responsible for the research, concept, script writing, designing and making props, costumes, scheduling of workshops, audio editing of sound tracks of “Celebrations from India” concert. Performances in Australia-

 Charity fund raiser dinner hosted by Multicultural Affairs minister, and Hon. Premier of Victoria, Mr Daniel Andrews. March 2016
 Participation in the events organized by the Federation of Indian Associations Victoria
 International dance day 2016 organised by Art of Vinyasa dance school, Melbourne.

"The Last Dance" is a 90-minute English play written and directed by Nilesh Gadre, presented by Melbourne Indian Theatre, a not-for-profit community theatre company. The play explores the lives of two dancers, their aspirations, and the ways their dreams often clash with life's realities. Rehearsals are already underway. Performances are scheduled for 2nd, 9th, 10th, and 16th August 2025, with the potential for additional shows based on the success of the initial season.

This composition is a joyous presentation of the connection between dance and nature. Dance is an expression of rhythm
and grace. And there is rhythm and grace everywhere in the nature. This music is composed by Mr. Tejas Vinchurkar on
flute and Mrs. Mitali Khargonkar on Tabla. On this soulful music, the youngest (and probably the tiniest) students at our
dance school are dancing their first ever kathak performance.
This choreography is as young as these dancers Sara, Vismaya and Avani!
