Harness Racing Victoria's pony trots is a fun and inclusive competition for ages 6 to 17.

After 12 well fought rounds, the results for the 2026 Shepparton Pony of the Year are in!

🥇With 2 wins and 7 placings - and in his first season of racing, Tywin Quinlan and his pony Pretty Cool came out on top with a VERY cool 138 points 👑

🥈With 2 wins and 6 placings - also in his first season of racing, Alekxander Quinlan and his pony Jam Packed finished a close second with 127 points

🥉With 3 wins and 3 placings, ultra consistent team Emma Thomson and her pony Shatahn were a clear third with 108 points.

A huge and sincere thank you to the Shepparton Harness Racing Club, Rachel Duyrea, Addie Duryea and most importantly the young drivers, ponies and families who raced across the season 👏❤️
