Why you need this drill:

The hit and freeze drill is basically a lie detector for your technique.

If you can’t hold your finish for two seconds, your balance was off during the contact.

It feels a bit dramatic at first, but forcing that pause is the fastest way to build muscle memory and a cleaner follow-through.
