VAHV steps up — VAHV has officially shifted into delivery mode: the committee is operating with sharper roles, stronger accountability, and a rhythm of fortnightly updates, monthly face‑to‑face meetings, and agendas shared early to keep everything moving.
League takes centre stage — Our league is the headline act: we’re gearing up for a late‑August launch right after the State League wraps, with a big push on securing a stronger venue, recruiting volunteers, boosting promotion, and locking in a clear competition structure and timeline.
Format exploration — We’re exploring the best competition format: if numbers allow, a two‑division setup could be introduced to create a more competitive and inclusive league.
Major events momentum — We’re aiming high on events: the goal is four or more tournaments each year, with the Melbourne Cup Tournament shaping up to be our flagship showcase.
Building our presence — Growth foundations are underway: our website is in development, and we’re rolling out social media across Instagram, TikTok, and other key platforms to build visibility and community energy.
Boosting membership value — We’re strengthening what it means to be a VAHV member: exploring affiliation with Volleyball Victoria to support insurance coverage and open future competition pathways.
