📣Important Announcement, Please read 📣
It’s with the heaviest heart that I tell you I will be taking a break from/with Short Apparel.
At this point in my life, I don’t feel aligned with my business venture and I think I’ve put it down to bad timing on my end. I started my business when Isla was 3 months old, not knowing what I envisioned for my business or my family.
The last 6 months have been very challenging and it’s now come down to a daily question of ‘have I got the energy and determination to continue’. Starting a business from the ground up is no joke. It takes so much of your soul, time, focus, energy and so on.
First and foremost, I’m a mum and a wife and I wear those labels with so much pride. I feel I haven’t been as present with my family as I want and need to be. I’ve learnt that I can’t balance it all without running myself into the ground.
I have lost certain parts of myself that I loved but I have also learnt so much along this journey. The beautiful relationships with other ladies in business has been such a blessing in such a lonely space, so I know I’m not the only one who feels this but I know I have to do something about it.
It truely breaks my heart for this decision, but I know deep down that it’s the right thing to do at this point in time. I’m not sure what the future holds for Short Apparel, but for now I’ll be taking a big social media break to realign and centre myself and figure out what truly matters to me as an individual. And who knows what creative ideas I’ll come up with in the process.
I will be having a big sale to clear as much stock as possible so please keep and eye out for that.
To all my beautiful ladies who always engage and have a chat- Thank you! To all my beautiful customers who have supported and loved my products, THANK-YOU! You guys have made it all worth it.
To Luke, my beautiful husband. Thank you for making it all possible.
I’d say come and follow my personal account, but I post once a year, so it’s probably not even worth it 😂
