Step into the vibrant world of the 12 Chinese Zodiac — where personality meets destiny and every year comes with its own animal swagger. 🐉✨

[Quote]

The 12 Chinese zodiac animals are ranked in a specific, repeating 12-year cycle based on a legendary race to the Jade Emperor:

1. Rat, 2. Ox, 3. Tiger, 4. Rabbit, 5. Dragon, 6. Snake, 7. Horse, 8. Goat, 9. Monkey, 10. Rooster, 11. Dog, and 12. Pig.

Order of the Chinese Zodiac Animals:

1. Rat (鼠 - shǔ): Known for being clever and resourceful.

2. Ox (牛 - niú): Diligent and strong.

3. Tiger (虎 - hǔ): Brave and a natural leader.

4. Rabbit (兔 - tù): Won by agility and speed.

5. Dragon (龙 - lóng): Powerful and independent.

6. Snake (蛇 - shé): Wise and graceful.

7. Horse (马 - mǎ): Energetic and popular.

8. Goat (羊 - yáng): Gentle and creative.

9. Monkey (猴 - hóu): Witty and flexible.

10. Rooster (鸡 - jī): Organized and alert.

11. Dog (狗 - gǒu): Loyal but playful.

12. Pig (猪 - zhū): Kind and hardworking.

🐎 Year of the Horse (2026): What’s the Forecast?

Since it’s currently the Year of the Fire Horse, if you were born in a Horse year (1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014), you are officially in your Ben Ming Nian (Zodiac Birth Year).

In Chinese culture, being the "ruling sign" is a bit of a double-edged sword! It’s high-energy but also a year where you need to be extra careful because you’re "offending" the Tai Sui (Grand Duke Jupiter).

Here is what to expect for 2026:

Career & Success: 🚀

Expect a very fast-paced year!

The Fire Horse energy brings major momentum. You’ll feel a strong urge to start new projects or even switch careers. Success comes to those who are bold, but don't gallop blindly—double-check your "contracts" and avoid "kan cheong" (anxious) mistakes.

Wealth & Finance: 💰

Money luck is a bit of a roller coaster. You might see some "windfall" opportunities, but your spending urges will be high too. Avoid high-risk investments this year. Think of it as a year to save and stabilize rather than "all-in" on the next big thing.

Love & Relationships: ❤️

It’s a passionate year! If you're single, your charisma is at an all-time high—you'll be "steady-pi-pi" in the dating scene. For those attached, watch your temper! The Fire Horse can make you a bit "garang" (fierce), so practice patience with your partner to avoid unnecessary drama.

Health: 🧘‍♂️

With all that Fire energy, you might feel burnt out or restless. Watch your stress levels and keep an eye on your heart and digestive health. Make sure to "chull" (relax) and get enough sleep!

The bodies of Leannedra Kang and Takahiro Toya, both from Brisbane, have been found in northeast Tasmania.

The couple, both in their 20s, were scheduled to fly from Launceston to Brisbane on Wednesday but failed to show up at the airport or return their rental car, prompting a large-scale search operation.

The tragic discovery was made last night, when emergency services found a car submerged in water off Tebrakunna Road in Pioneer around 5:30pm.

At this stage, it appears the vehicle went off the road while crossing a bridge, ending up in the water near Pioneer, between St Helens and Derby.

While police have stated that there are no indications of foul play, investigations are ongoing.
