Happy week!

Exercise and sport do wonders for both our minds and bodies, yet so many women feel discouraged or excluded from being able to move their body.

Divine Ultimate is excited to launch our 2023-2024 during This Girl Can week, with two FREE come and try sessions happening over the next two Sundays. These sessions are open to all women and gender non-conforming folk, regardless of previous experience or club affiliation.

Full disclosure, I am the one writing this haha - but hello!
My name is Yvette Nguyen (some call me Vetty), and I am President, co-coach and Founding Father of Divine Ultimate. As we approach the final moments of the season, I just want to say a massive thank you to my fellow Founding Fathers, Kass, P and Lara, for all your support over the last 12 months. Looking at the squad, I could not be prouder of what we've accomplished this season and I could not be more excited of what's to come. Let's absolutely send it this weekend! Yewwwww!

An incredibly versatile coach and player, Kass is not one to miss this weekend 💜⚡

Peggy-Sue "Absolutely Jacked" Fennell is the squad's other half of our stacked co-captain duo 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♀️🦸‍♀️
Not only is Peggy a mean handler on the field, she can also make a mean mashed potato off-field 🥔
Very adorably, she also trusts co-captain Hannah to represent her in the court of law whenever the time may or may not come (what's in that mash? 🤔)

Hannah "Sauce" Phillips is one of our two co-captains for the squad 🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♀️
Not only armed with a deadly hammer and a powerhouse of a huck on-field, Hannah can also walk on stilts and does calligraphy in her spare time ✍✍✍

Catch her and the rest of the gang this weekend when we tear it up in Bendigo!

Introducing the first of our leadership team, Tegan "Teegs" West is the squad's Spirit Captain coming into Nationals next weekend! No stranger to the frisbee scene, Teegs started their journey in 2015, and we couldn't be more stoked to have them make their comeback with us this year. ⚡⚡⚡

When you see them next, I highly recommend requesting to hear Tegan's heart-wrenching rendition of Khia's "My Neck, My Back" - it truly is soul-touching.

Rhyannion "P" Mathison is the club's fabulous Treasurer. An absolutely icon of culture and rizz, Rhyannion is well versed in the Bluey, Velma, Shrek and Barbie franchises. 😎😎😎
Like most of the squad, Rhyannion trusts coach (and sister) Kass to represent her in the court of law if it came down to it - though working in HR, maybe P has the skills to get away with it 👀
