🏐🔥 What a fantastic night of social volleyball in Kensington! 🔥🏐

The energy was incredible both on and off the court, with plenty of enthusiasm, positive vibes and, most importantly, lots of fun! 🙌

We saw some fantastic serves, spikes, passes, sets and defensive saves, with everyone giving their best and fighting for every point. 💪🏐

Tonight’s match between Team A and Kensington Gunners was an absolute thriller! We had some amazing rallies, incredible saves and plenty of moments that had everyone cheering. Both teams battled hard for every single point, taking the match all the way to a third-set tiebreak.

In the end, Kensington Gunners took the victory home, winning the deciding tiebreak! 🏆🔥

It’s only the second loss of the season for Team A, and I’m sure they’ll bounce back strongly next week! 💪👏

A huge well done to all the players and supporters who made tonight’s volleyball matches so enjoyable. The best part of social volleyball is not just the competition — it’s playing with friends, meeting new people, having a laugh and enjoying the game together. ❤️🏐

🏐 Another Fantastic Sunday of Volleyball! 🎉

What an amazing session with our wonderful returning members and new faces! 💙 It was fantastic to see everyone coming together, learning, connecting, and enjoying the game.

Today, our beginners and moderate-level participants had the opportunity to sharpen their passing and serving skills while building confidence on the court. 🏐✨

Our coach Safi once again led an incredibly enjoyable, fun, and friendly session. We kicked things off with an ice breaker and warm-up, creating the perfect atmosphere to meet new people, interact, and feel comfortable on the court.

From learning new techniques to supporting one another, today was all about learning, improving, having fun, and building a great volleyball community! 🙌

A huge welcome to all our new members, and welcome back to everyone who joined us again. We loved having you with us and can’t wait to see you next Sunday! ❤️🏐

Another fantastic First Serve training session today! 🏐

Our group, led by Coach Safi, focused on one of the most important skills in volleyball—blocking. We practiced one-on-one blocking and blocking in pairs, working on the key fundamentals that make an effective blocker.

A great block starts with reading the game, timing your jump, and pressing your hands over the net. Jump too early or too late, and you can miss the opportunity to stop the attack. Today's drills helped everyone improve their game awareness, timing, and technique.

We finished the session with a fun social game, where everyone had the chance to put their new skills into action. It was great to see all participants continuing to improve and play with confidence.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us today! It's always a great way to spend a Sunday playing volleyball, learning new skills, and enjoying the game together.

🔥 Match Review: What a derby between Setting Suns and Strong Hands! It was a thrilling contest that went the distance, with both teams putting on a fantastic display of teamwork and determination. In the end, Setting Suns edged out the win by the narrowest of margins in the third set. An incredible match that had everyone on the edge of their seats!

🏆 DOCKLANDS LEAGUE 1 – SEASON 8 CHAMPIONS! 🏆

What a way to close another incredible season! Congratulations to Peladeiros FC, the new Docklands League 1 Season 8 Champions! 🇧🇷⚽

Joga Bonito was on full display from these lads all season long. Some might even say they played better than Brazil at the World Cup! 😍🔥

A massive congratulations to Matheus, Sergio, Erick, Tyron, Tyson, and Pablo on winning their first-ever MSL title. A well-deserved achievement after an outstanding campaign! 👏🥇

The championship came down to the final match of the season against the fantastic Docklands FC, who were also chasing their first league title. The first half was an intense, evenly matched battle, but the new champions stepped up in the second half to prove why they deserved to lift the trophy. What a finale for Season 8! 💥⚽

What a fantastic way to wrap up another season of our Tuesday Glenroy Indoor Social League!

A huge congratulations to Glenroy Galacticos, who made yet another Grand Final appearance, this time taking on Jhola FC. It was a close contest in the first half, with the Galacticos holding a narrow lead before taking control in the second half to secure an impressive 9–5 victory. 👏

Credit to both teams for an entertaining final, showcasing great teamwork, quality goals, and the true spirit of social football.

🏐 What a fantastic last Wednesday night of social volleyball in Kensington! 🔥

Great people, an amazing vibe, exciting rallies, powerful spikes, and outstanding teamwork made for another unforgettable evening on the court.

A big welcome to our three new teams—Team A, Melbourne Blockbusters, and Thunder Spikers! 👏 We hope you enjoy being part of our growing social volleyball community and have an amazing season ahead.

This week we’re sharing highlights from three exciting matches. Team A took on the reigning champions, Setting Suns, in a thrilling contest. After a closely fought match and a deciding tie-break set, Setting Suns managed to sn**ch their first victory of the season.

Melbourne Blockbusters made a fantastic start with a win in their second match, while Thunder Spikers showed plenty of promise despite narrowly losing their first game. We’re looking forward to seeing all three teams continue to grow throughout the season!

Games were packed with incredible points, long rallies, precise spikes, strong defensive plays, and excellent teamwork—everything that makes volleyball such an exciting sport.
