Tennis Australia is supporting TreadLightly to provide 250 free recycling bags to eligible tennis clubs, and spots won't last long.

Each registered club gets three bags delivered directly. Fill them with used balls from members, coaches and court hire. Any brand accepted. Collected balls are turned into concrete pavers, retail flooring and punching bags through a certified Australian recycling facility.

Our national shoe recycling initiative TreadLightly is proud to be supported by the Australian Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment's Product Stewardship Program to recycle more than one million pairs of shoes by 2023!

This week is ! To celebrate, we are proud to announce that the ASGA SOS Shoe Recycling Initiative has rebranded to TreadLightly. The new brand reflects a new national program with nearly 500 collection locations across more than 20 different brands.

As part of the national launch, we undertook new research around shoe habits, revealing Aussies are hoarding around 100 million unused shoes that could end up in landfill!

This research highlights a national problem and a significant environmental concern. TreadLightly exists to address this issue by taking unwanted sports and active lifestyle shoes and responsibly recycling them into mats and flooring for retail stores, gyms and playgrounds.
