The Melbourne Marathon Festival holds a special place in the hearts of generations of runners, and although we can’t physically bring everyone together this year, we will be staging a Virtual Melbourne Marathon on December 5 – 13 to help our running community maintain their goals, stay inspired and keep fit. Challenge. Commit. Connect. The Virtual Melbourne Marathon will connect our global running

community at a time when we need it most. Join us as we begin this journey with runners who will be challenging themselves on courses around the world, while bringing to life the spirit of the Melbourne Marathon. Remember, wherever you run please follow local guidelines and run safe.

Circle around Albert Park Lake, Flinders Street Station, pass the St Kilda beach foreshore and cross the finish line at the MCG to cheers from supporters, family and friends. The Melbourne Marathon is a competitive, adrenaline-filled race for those experienced in marathon running who want to set a PB on our fast and flat course, and is also perfect for first-timers and less experienced marathon runners.
