Weโre pretty good at just getting on with it.
Even when weโre tired.
Even when weโre stressed.
Even when something doesnโt feel quite right.
We get things done. We look after other people. We tell ourselves weโll deal with it later.
But when life is busy, โlaterโ can be an easy promise to keep making.
Todayโs theme for Womenโs Health Week is โ๐ง๐ผ ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ต๐ฒโ โ a reminder to pause long enough to notice how youโre actually doing.
Not whether youโre keeping up.
Not ๐ธ๐ฉ๐ข๐ต you did today.
Not whether everyone else is okay.
How ๐๐ฅ๐ you?
We often gloss over the answer.
If the answer isnโt great, thatโs worth noticing. Give yourself a moment to sit with it.
Looking after your mental health doesnโt always look like self-care. Sometimes it looks like setting a boundary, making an appointment, asking for help, or simply stepping away for five minutes. Going outside. Putting your phone down. ๐ต
You donโt have to wait until things become overwhelming to take yourself seriously.
Today, take a breath โ and check in with yourself.
