It’s not always about trying to “get off the brakes”
Set yourself up for success by controlling your environment:
1. Chose one skill component to focus on at a time. Eg, Braking, Position, Rotation etc etc. This keeps it simple and allows you to identify the outcomes more clearly.
2. Slow down! Rushing is often what causes a lapse in technique. You don’t have to go slow, just dial it back one or two notches to allow for more consistent practice.
3. Choose FUN terrain that you feel confident riding. This will inspire confidence and make the progression flow more easily!
4. BONUS - check out our cornering sessions for FREE in the Apogee library with the 2-week free trial!
