With winter now in full swing, planning for the 2027 Event is officially underway.

The focus this month is Aus Time Attack

We would like to wish the entire team an epic event and look forward to some great weather for the weekend of racing.

Exciting news is also circulating within the community. Word has it that several original drivers are planning a return to South Australia next year, alongside the debut of some incredible new builds.

Who is already looking forward to getting back behind the wheel?

Who do you think needs to make a return next year?

A huge congratulations to Lone Wolf Racing being officially accepted into World Time Attack Challenge is a massive achievement.

Andrew and the team are definitely no stranger to the event competing in clubsprint previously.

Andrew finished 2nd in open class this year while still shaking down his new combo.

We wish him all the best come September.

If you look closely each year, you can probably count on 1 hand the number of truly budget WTAC entries that have been built entirely at home by an amateur. And more than that, one that looks and performs like a mid level workshop build.

It's a huge ask but that's always been my goal with this build and thanks to support from my wife and WTAC's vote of confidence accepting my application, I'm on track to achieving this.

It is however a 2 way street and that means I have a responsibility to make the event and bring my A game. I've still got a lot of work to do in the months ahead to ensure my car and myself perform at a level fitting of the world's most competitive and craziest time attack event.

There aren't many things in Australia we can say that about but WTAC is one of them.

Who went to see the Australian Super Trucks this weekend ?

How good was the racing and Saturdays fireworks ?

The same team behind Tsukiyo Time Attack were working their butts off all weekend long behind the scenes helping put on one hell of a show.

Definitely been a very busy couple months for our team and with the Mallala "M24HR" 2026 Motor Events Racing just around the corner it’s not slowing down.

Last year we held the first continuous 24 hr race at Mallala and this year we are taking it to a new level.

So it’s time to swap those one lap beasts for endurance mode. Join the likes of S & J Automotive in their ce lancer

Following the conclusion of our 2026 event, the team has been hard at work reviewing our debut and identifying opportunities for growth.

While we are incredibly proud of what we achieved together, we recognize that refinement is a continuous process in the pursuit of excellence.

To ensure Tsukiyo Time Attack continues to evolve, we have been actively gathering and analyzing feedback from:

• Competitors & Teams: Understanding the on-track experience and technical requirements.

• Spectators: Enhancing the viewing experience and event atmosphere.

• Event Partners: Collaborating with local organisers and industry peers to strengthen the broader motorsport community.

Our dedicated team has also been engaging with drivers across Australia to gauge interest and ensure our 2027 grid represents the very best the country has to offer.

With major milestones like Aus Time Attack, TimeAttack.com.au King of QR, and the World Time Attack Challenge on the horizon, we know the community’s focus is currently on the peak of the 2026 season.

However, we have heard your feedback loud and clear: early communication is vital.

To accommodate the complex logistics of travel and accommodation for interstate teams and fans, we are committed to providing our 2027 plan well in advance.

We are excited to begin the journey toward Tsukiyo Time Attack 2027.

Stay tuned for official dates and venue announcements as we prepare to raise the bar once again.

Our Goal is to foster a collaborative, high-performance environment where the Australian time attack scene can thrive.

Was a pleasure to have the amazing team from StreamCraft Media at our event doing some testing and experimenting with possible camera positions for future events.

If you’re looking for someone to stream your event make sure you get in touch with the team.

Who doesn’t like the sound of a rotary?

And Babs Garage is definitely up there with one of the better sounding ones (even when it’s missing one)

We hope the team can get it sorted and be back for another crack at the title.
