Cheeky little Mallala open track day yesterday to get a feel for the GS. Was surprised how well it handles for how big and heavy it is. Managed a 1:21.6 so a good start.
Keen to see what it can do at Tsukiyo Time Attack March 28 2026 Mallala Twilight!

Day one of the Supaservice Tyre & Auto Backbone Hillclimb (formally Mt Alma Mile) done.
Was great to be back out there after four years although I hate with a passion the new chicane motorsport australia has mandated, If I was a better driver it wouldn't be an issue, but the poor supra has a few new cosmetic blemishes!
Well off the pace at 18th but plenty of time to be made with nicer weather tomorrow.

In the Time Attack/JDM Classics group, on track Saturday @ 4:15pm and Sunday @ 11:45am.

Had a cracking good time out at the SA Supra trackday on Friday. Being able to take a bunch of mates out for passenger rides was definitely the highlight.
As you can see in the last screenshot the car did misbehave a little as the day wore on. Apart from it thinking it was an F1 car revving to 18,000rpm, it also had some issues with the electronic throttle. Whilst the pedal stayed at 100% it would fluctuate between 60-80% and cause what felt like fuel surge.
So no PBs but a great day had! Car will be off to Fours N More later this week for a check over before AMF.

Ready for passenger rides at this Fridays SA Supra track day. Factory recaro back in (don't ask why it doesn't have the original trim....) and freshish takata harness installed.
If you have the day off come up to Mallala and have a ride.

Well they say they leave the the big driver announcements to last... Now that they've said everyone's favourite Aussie f1 driver is coming I can now announce the Supra has also been selected as a late entry to AMF.
Okay I'm actually 100% a seat filler but I'm not going to complain about getting to tackle the Victoria Park circuit again!

Had an absolutely amazing time out at SA Time Attack last weekend.
After 18 months off the track you wouldn't think I'd be working on the car the night before the event but some habits die hard. A monster effort to get it back out there even with drift spec rubber. Times were no where near representative of what the car is capable of but I didn't have much more in me.
Chucking the slicks back on to head back out to Mallala next month for the SA Supra trackday!

Got there in the end!
Ready for SA time attack tomorrow at Mallala.
Big shout out to Dale, Riannon and Liam for helping me get it ready.
I wouldn't call it clean but at least it's been washed!

Starting to get the Supra ready to get out of hibernation. A little tidy up down at the shed tonight and remounted the guards.

Well it's not perfect but that was never the plan. It's a massive improvement on the carbon and a million times better than the roof was when I got the car.
Not bad for a rattle can job.
