Practising in the nets and there’s this kid hitting balls with his family. I asked him if he’d like to have a round. I said Craig you don’t mind if he plays with us. Craig said yeah that’s fine but I could sit in his eyes Grant what have you done. Adam is a 9 year-old with a swing like Adam Scott. We put him on the yellow tee with a handicap of 11. Let’s just say you won’t be off 11 for long. Great round Adam.

A picture perfect winter day saw our Maffra Ladies playing the Doris Chambers Foursomes event with Denise Mulcahy & daughter Monique Day winning with 37pts - congratulations!
They will be off to Melbourne in October to defend last year’s win! 🏆

Our 4BBB Charity Day field of 62 started in thick fog on a damp course, but the fog cleared quickly & the winners came home with 44pts - congratulations Judith Cronin & Julie Vardy!
Also, congratulations to 2nd & 3rd Runners Up & DTL & NTP & Raffle Winners!

Unfortunately, Maffra lost to Bairnsdale today 2/3 with Dale and Cooper winning respectively. Nathan losing on the 17th and Hayden and Danny unlucky going down to the 18th hole. Thanks for the blokes that went down there for the support and will look forward to do it again next year.
