What a fantastic day in the pool for our Lowood & District Swimming Club swimmers! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Every swimmer put in an amazing effort, with personal bests all around and several swimmers stepping up to tackle new events for the very first time. It’s wonderful to see their hard work, determination, and confidence continue to grow.

Whether it was chasing a PB, trying something new, or simply giving their best effort, each swimmer represented our club with pride. 💙🦭

A huge congratulations to all of our swimmers today – we are incredibly proud of you all! Keep up the great work and enjoy celebrating those achievements. 🎉👏

Wrapping up another session. Whilst our pool is sleeping, our Lowood squad team swimmers and coaches are joining in with Steve's training sessions at Bundamba. We are enjoying the experience and it's great to be able to keep swimming over winter together. Which Just pools are you visiting over winter?

Exciting things are happening at Lowood Pool! 💦 Helen is officially stepping into the Facility Manager role for the upcoming summer season, and we couldn’t be happier for her. Many of you will already recognise Helen from around the facility through her role as a squad coach, her involvement with the swimming club, and the strong relationships she’s built with swimmers and families over the years. Having grown up swimming herself, the pool environment has always been a huge part of her life — and that experience, along with her connection to the community and staff, makes her a fantastic fit for the role. 💙 Be sure to say hello and congratulate Helen when you see her around the pool!
