Results for hickory sticks at Rosewood on Sunday 7 June 2026

The Lowood contingent was well represented at the 2026 MDGA Hickory Sticks event, fielding three teams across the competition.

Performance Highlight

The standout performance of the day belonged to Jeremy Turner, who top-scored for the Lowood teams with an impressive 34 points.

Jeremy's round was highlighted by a spectacular eagle on the Par 4 6th hole. After finding himself in a strong position off the tee, he produced a fantastic shot that found the bottom of the cup for a rare and memorable eagle, drawing plenty of attention from fellow competitors and becoming one of the talking points of the day.

Hi .
Today at Lowood we played a Single Stableford, it started out as a bit of a brisk morning, with an overnight low of 4 deg, but we soldiered on and took to the course.
It was an interesting situation, with four players all coming in with 36 points, initially it was only three, but due to an error by the captain, (me), I missed the score of Chris Smale, who also recorded a score of 36 points.
It was difficult to separate Chris and Tim, so both were awarded the win, with Pieter Muller the Runner-Up.
