💚🖤 SEMI FINAL RECAP | SO PROUD OF OUR EMERALDS 🖤💚

What a day of netball, and what a season it has been for our Emeralds! 💎

💚 OPALS

While their season came to an end, our Opals saved one of their very best performances for last.

The sportsmanship, skill, determination and the way they backed each other from the first whistle to the last was everything we could ask for.

The improvement in this team across the season has been incredible, and they should walk away so proud of what they have achieved. We certainly are! 💚

💎 SAPPHIRES

Our Sapphires were also eliminated, but what a performance to finish their season!

Their teamwork, skill and determination were on full display, and this game really showed just how far they have come throughout the year.

They fought hard, backed each other and left absolutely everything out on court. The improvement across this group has been huge, and there is so much to be proud of. 💚🖤

A tough opponent, a hard-fought contest and some seriously intense heat — but our Jewels dug deep, kept fighting and got the win! 💪💚

What an incredible bunch of ladies and what a season they are having! The fight, teamwork, determination and support they show for one another every time they take the court is something pretty special. So proud of this group and everything they have achieved so far. 💎

💚 A little something from me…

I’ll admit, I’m a little teary writing this.

When I think about where Emeralds started and everything we have achieved in just our first year, it really is pretty incredible.

I couldn’t be prouder of our entire Emeralds club — and I know so many across our Emeralds community feel exactly the same.

Not just the teams who took the court in finals, but every single person who has been part of this journey.

From our littlest NetSetters through to our juniors and seniors. Our coaches and umpires. Our committee and volunteers. Our parents, families, sponsors and supporters. Every single one of you has played a part in making Emeralds what it is.

There have been so many improvements, achievements and special moments this year, but what makes me proudest is the club and community we have created together.

The friendships. The support. The sportsmanship. The resilience. The laughs. The people who put their hands up to help. The way our teams support each other and the way everyone has embraced what Emeralds is all about. 💚🖤

To think this is our inaugural season and we have already come this far is something really special.

And the best part?

This is only the beginning. 💎💚

There is so much more ahead for Emeralds, and I genuinely cannot wait to see where we go from here.

But our first season isn’t over just yet…

Our Jewels are playing for a spot in the GRAND FINAL, and we want our Emeralds family there behind them!

💚🖤 OPALS 💎 | KNOCKOUT SEMI FINAL!

Our Opals are heading into the knockout semi-final this Saturday! 🔥

We are so proud of this team and just how much they have grown throughout the season.

Taking the court this Saturday for our Opals — Renee, Sarah, Haley, Shayni, Kirby, Aleah, Kirsty, Sunny, Erika & Kaitlin. 💎

Led by Captain Renee, this team has developed into such a supportive group who continue to back and encourage each other every time they step onto the court.

It has been a season of trying different positions, taking on new challenges and learning to work together across the court. Their growth and resilience have been incredible to watch — pushing through the tough games, continuing to learn and coming back stronger each week.

No matter what happens this Saturday, this team has already given us so much to be proud of.

Now they head into their knockout semi-final — an achievement they should all be incredibly proud of! 💎

💚🖤 SAPPHIRES | POOL A ELIMINATION FINAL 🖤💚

What an achievement! 💎 Our Sapphires are heading into the Pool A Elimination Final this week!

We are incredibly proud of this team and everything they have achieved this season. Their growth, determination and teamwork have been amazing to watch, and earning their place in the Pool A finals is a fantastic achievement! 💚💎

🎯 Claire & Layla have progressed so much this season, stepping up and taking on that goal circle with confidence. The improvement, resilience and strength they have shown has been incredible — and they have absolutely made that circle their own!

🛡️ Tanikka, Keira, Chloe & Kirra have been on fire in defence! Strong contests, pressure over every ball, intercepts and plenty of determination have made them a tough defensive unit to get through.

⚡ Livy, Erin, Lani, Rhi & Rach make up an awesome midcourt combination. Speed, agility, teamwork and determination — they work hard for each other and keep the ball moving from one end of the court to the other.

To finish the regular season and earn a place in the Pool A finals is something this team should be incredibly proud of. 💚

They’ve grown, worked hard and backed each other all season — and now they get the chance to fight for their spot in the next round!

💎 JEWELS ARE FINALS BOUND! 💎

What a regular season for our Jewels! 💚

Finishing in 3rd place on 35 points, they were right in the fight for second, with percentage the only thing separating them on the ladder.

Now it’s finals time! 🔥 Next weekend the Jewels head into a knockout semi-final — win and they keep their season alive!

Shannon has proudly captained the Jewels throughout the season, leading this group of ladies all the way to finals. Taking the court next weekend will be Anneleise, Ema, Helene, Julie, Kimberly, Nicole, Olivia and Shannon, with Amy and Hannah cheering them on from the sideline. 💚

This group has brought fair play, sportsmanship, plenty of fun and a competitive spirit to the court all season. They’ve backed each other, enjoyed their netball and earned their place in the finals!

A fantastic achievement in Emeralds’ inaugural season. 💚🤍
