Our Under 18 Netballers and Reserves Footballers are both just one win away from a Grand Final.

Our Reserves are through to the Preliminary Final after an unforgettable 39–35 victory over Navarre in an absolute classic.

Trailing by two points in the final minutes, the Tigers refused to give in. With the scores locked in the dying stages, the game came down to one last kick. After the siren sounded, Justin Hobson held his nerve and slotted the winning goal, sending supporters into celebration mode.

A tremendous team effort from start to finish, with every player digging deep when it mattered most. The boys showed incredible resilience and fought right to the very end when the game was on the line.

Tomorrow our Reserves boys take on Navarre in a massive semi-final clash at Princes Park, Maryborough.

Let’s get a big turnout in the yellow and black and get behind the boys as they look to get the job done and book their place in the next stage of finals.

🐯SENIOR PRESENTATION NIGHT 2026🐯

Join us for the Lexton Football Netball Club Senior Presentation Night as we celebrate the 2026 season.

Saturday, 19th September 2026
Lexton Community Hub
Arrive from 6:00pm | Formalities begin at 6:30pm
$55 per person | Includes a 2-course meal
Dress code: Semi-formal

TRANSPORT
• A bus will be available for everyone travelling to and from the event
• Departing The Park Hotel at 5:00pm
• Miners Rest pickup at 5:15pm
• Return trip to Ballarat later in the evening

🐯 FINALS WEEK 2 🐯

Congratulations to our U/18 Netballers and Reserves Footballers on getting the job done and progressing through to the next stage of finals.

A big effort from our A, B & C Grade Netball sides, who fought hard right to the end. Also, a massive effort from our U/12 Footballers, who unfortunately went down but put in an incredible performance.

This week we turn our attention to Week 2 of the finals.

Our U/18 Netballers have earned a well-deserved week off as they prepare for next week’s Preliminary Final, while our Reserves Footballers are back in action on Saturday.

🏐 CINDY TEGGERTH RE-SIGNS FOR 2027! 🐯

We’re incredibly excited to announce the re-signing of Cindy Teggerth as our Lexton FNC A Grade & U18 Netball Coach for the 2027 season!

After bringing a wealth of experience, passion and knowledge to the club throughout 2026, we’re thrilled to have Cindy continuing her coaching journey with the Tigers in 2027.

We can’t wait to see what the new season brings!
