Waubra Football Netball Club Waubra Football Netball Club - Let's Go Roos! Throughout the season Waubra Football Netball Club generally host a home game every second week.

The Waubra Football Netball Club’s home is the Waubra Community Hub, and we we offer fantastic facilities that support an inclusive family culture. This season the club will be entering teams in all football competitions including Under 12s, 15s and 18s, Reserves and Seniors. We will also be fielding sides in all netball grades including Under 13A & B’s, 15s and 17s, as well as A, B and C grades.

New players are welcome to join training, which is usually held every Thursday night, and speak to the coach to see if there are any positions available.

Over the weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting the 2006 Premiership Reunion at Waubra FNC 💙🤍

It was a fantastic day bringing together past players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters to celebrate a special part of our club’s history. There were plenty of great memories shared, a few laughs, and it was brilliant to see everyone back together again!

A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day such a success, your presence made it a really special occasion for the club and for everyone involved.

On the weekend, the Waubra Football Netball Club proudly presented Life Membership to Shane Skontra in recognition of his outstanding contribution to our club.

Shane has played a significant role in the success and growth of Waubra over many years, most notably in his time as Senior Coach. Under his leadership, the club achieved premiership success in both 2006 and 2011, creating unforgettable moments in our club’s history and laying the foundation for continued success. His coaching tenure was defined by hard work, strong leadership, and an ability to bring players together to perform at their best when it mattered most.

Beyond the premierships, Shane’s impact on the club went far deeper than results on the field. He helped build a strong and resilient club culture, instilling pride, discipline, and commitment that carried through every level of the organisation. His influence has been felt by players, assistants, volunteers, and supporters alike, many of whom still reflect on his time at the club as a defining era.

Shane’s dedication, loyalty, and service to Waubra Football Netball Club over such a long period make him a truly deserving recipient of Life Membership. His contribution has left a lasting legacy that will always be remembered within our club.

ROUND 8 RESULTS | WAUBRA v SPRINGBANK 🦘💙🤍

A day of highs, hard-fought contests and plenty to celebrate as we hosted Springbank at the Waubra Recreation Reserve.

🏉 Senior Football continued their strong form with a 13-point win, 14.3 (87) to 10.14 (74). Connor Thar was unstoppable with seven majors, while Isaac Hucker, Isaac Menhennet and Harry Roscoe were among the standout performers.

🏐 Our Netballers recorded impressive wins in C Grade, D Grade, U17s, U15s, U13A and U13B, showcasing the strength of our program from juniors through to seniors.

🏉 In the Junior Football, the U12s claimed another terrific victory, while our U15s and U18s continued to compete hard and develop each week.

A massive thank you to our volunteers, supporters, sponsors and everyone who came out to support the Roos. Your energy around the club continues to make Waubra a fantastic place to be every weekend.

Waubra FNC is pleased to announce that Kane “Suga” Tolliday has re-signed as Senior Coach for the 2027 season.

Since taking on the role, Suga has brought great leadership, passion and commitment to our football program, helping drive a strong culture both on and off the field. His dedication to the club, players and broader Waubra community has been outstanding, and we’re excited to continue building together into 2027.

We’re thrilled to have Suga leading the group for another season and look forward to what lies ahead.

Today, CHFL Secretary Matthew Newton presented the Spirit of Participation Award to our Under 12s team following their outstanding efforts at the recent CHFL Under 12 Lightning Premiership in Ballan.

A fantastic achievement and a credit to all of the players, Coach Brad Molloy, Footy Manager Denise Briody, Runners Nugget McMurrey and Luke Walsh, and all of the parents who supported the team throughout the day.

Another big weekend ahead for the Roos as we take on Springbank in Round 8 🦘

After a strong week on the training track, all grades are ready to hit the court and continue building momentum in the blue and white. Plenty of exciting matchups ahead and we can’t wait to see the girls out there competing hard for the club.

The Roos are locked in for a huge Round 8 clash against Springbank this weekend 💙🤍🦘

It’s set to be an even bigger day at Waubra as we celebrate and recognise our 2006 Senior Premiership Reunion — 20 years on from an unforgettable season for the blue and white. We can’t wait to welcome back the players, coaches, supporters and everyone involved in such a special chapter of our club’s history.

On the field, the boys are ready to attack another big challenge across all grades and represent the jumper with pride.
