Race report from last weekends Rising stars at Southern Tasmanian Kart Club

Was good to see few more entries for this one, gave us a great field of KA3 Junior lights to race against over the day and in the combined Junior Pro class for the feature race at end of the day.

Qualifying - P3 had good pace just didn't get tyre pressure quite right.

Heat 1, 2, 3, 4. 8 Laps- had great pace and was quickest on track in all the heat races but just couldn't get it done. finished P2 in the heats.

Final. 14 Laps - Starting in P2 tried to hold the out side off the start but couldn't get it done and ended up back in P3. battled away over the race and took the win after some great battles with Levi. Winner winner.

Well done Levi and Arlen on podium.

KA3 Junior rising star feature race. 21 Laps

Random grid for the feature race and we draw P7 bu**er.
After talking tactics with Dad we made a plan and heading out on track.
Got an ok start moving up into P6 after first corner. By the time we got through the first lap we had taken three more spots up to P3.
At end of first lap Noah had skipped away to a 2 second lead, so Levi and I had some work to do to catch up.
By laps 9 Levi and I had worked together to catch up to Noah. after battling a few laps we both managed to pass and I moved up to P2. Over the next 8-9 laps Levi and i battle and the lead changed 4-5 time but I was lucky enough to take the Win. could have gone either way we both had great pace.

well done Levi and Noah on podium had some awesome battles over the weekend.

Thanks to Southern Tasmanian Kart Club and all the volunteers was a awesome weekends racing.

Next race is another quick turn around with race at North Western Kart Club this weekend.

Race report from last weekends race at Circular Head Kart Club

Well to say was a wet race day is an understatement but was still a very fun weekend.

Qualifying - P1

Heat 1 - P1 most of the race but lost bit of pace towards the end and finished P2.

Heat 2 - we didn’t make any changes and we probably needed to just didn’t have the pace of the front runners. Finished P4.

Heat 3 - made a few changes but unfortunately was wrong changes and had zero pace. Finished P5.

Final - got set up right and had good pace but made a couple of mistakes and dropped to far back to get at the front guys. Finished up in P4.

Did get the result but was having lots fun buring up a new set of wets.😝🤦
Well done Noah, Levi and Ayden on podium and an awesome day of racing.

Great start to the wet weekend qualifying in P1.

Race report from last weekend's race at LKC.

Qualifying - P1

Heat 1
Bogged down on the start and dropped back to P3, had some great battles over the race and ended up pulling off an awesome pass on second last corner to take the win.

Heat 2
Started a lot better and controlled the race finishing in P1.

Heat 3
Another good start and held the lead, Lap 9 got lap record then improved on that two more time over the race, ending with a 35.729

Final
Dad made a bet with me that I couldn't beat my new lap record.
another good start staying in P1 over the whole race, lap 7 beat my lap record and then again on lap 11, finishing with 35.667
and finishing with the win.

Had an awesome weekend on and off the track hanging out with mates and getting the clean sweep, new lap record and $50 off Dad.

Well down Cooper on second and Noah in Third great racing by all.

Next race will be at Circular Head Kart Club this coming weekend.
