With no racing in Port this weekend, we’d hoped to fire up a Burrawan crit, but we simply ran short on available officials. The good news is the fast and furious Thrumster crits are just around the corner, and there’s plenty to look forward to

🚴‍♂️ PMCC CRITERIUM LAUNCH — A HUGE HIT AT THRUMSTER! 🎉
Sunday 26 July

The very first Port Macquarie Cycling Club criterium at Thrumster Business Park delivered everything we hoped for — fast racing, big smiles, and a cracking new circuit that proved quick, punchy, and definitely not as flat as it looked. Those sneaky rises kept riders working all morning.

A crisp start ❄️ didn’t stop the fun, with spectators, cheers, and plenty of excitement around the course.

🌟 Ride of the Day — Tiffany Bowden
A brilliant effort from Tiffany, our sole female rider and lone D Grader, who dug deep and hung on to the C Grade boys for lap after lap.
Super gutsy riding. More women next time — Tiffany has set the standard.

Two newcomers — Michael Chaffer and Sam Rooimans — stormed home to win B Grade and C Grade respectively. Outstanding riding.
