💡FUN FACT FRIDAY💡

Where did the name "Springers" come from?
Ever wondered how Springers Leisure Centre got its name?

When the leisure centre was being developed in the early 1990s, Council invited the community to submit name suggestions. From that process, the name Springers Leisure Centre was chosen.
At the same time, the surrounding park was named Tatterson Park in honour of former City of Springvale CEO Ian Tatterson, who played a key role in championing the project.

It's a reminder that the places we enjoy today are shaped by the people and communities who helped bring them to life.

We’re making improvements!
From June 1, concrete works at Springers Leisure Centre will temporarily change how you access the venue.

🚧 The roundabout near the entrance will be closed
🚧 A new drop-off point will be in place
🚧 Entry paths will be adjusted
