Genuinely the best thing ever!
Yes I do miss out on the “Normal Teenage” experiences to go racing but all the experiences with your racing friends who are also teenagers missing out on those things to be there create a much stronger bond and it makes up for anything we could of missed! I’m so incredibly grateful to be able to live the life I live!!

Today we gave an oppertunity for Judd Rowland to take katies car for some laps.Judd has been racing Karts for a few years now including racing in Malysia. I can honestly say Judd took to speedway with ease and definately proved he is a good racer,he is like a sponge took everything in and did awesome.it was a privilege to give a young kid this opportunity. The video was Judd's 3rd time ever in a speedway sedan.
Was also great meeting Kieran Rowland and his family.

Well that's the end of our Northern season what can I say really it has been the hardest year we have had since Katie started Speedway.
Many times we have wanted to throw the towel in but we kept going with some amazing help from David Townsend what this guy has done for us no one would believe and we are all very gratefull for all the help advice and sponsorship.he has spent hours on hours on our car along side us.its very humbling to have someone like this in our corner and I can tell you he felt the pain too.
A big thanks also goes to Paul O'Dwyer again he is always willing to jump in and help he even pit crewed for myself and Katie when I had the silly idea of jumping in a street stock ha-ha. Will you see me in a street stock again well more than likely.
For all the heartache we have gone through we have still had many laughs and good trips away.
Racing isn't only about being on the track its about the people you meet the friendships made it is a way of life that's for sure.
Our home track of Nickol Bay Speedway have done an outstanding job this year the comitee have worked hard from upgrades to amenities making sure the club is in good hands, the track has been awesome all year thanks to the hard work and dedication of Mal McAuley what he does with the track is truly amazing and has to be one of if not the best track curator out there we certainly get spoilt.
I have enjoyed the opportunities of being in the tower whilst training to be a steward a big thanks to John Maxa and Jerome Sutton showing ne the ropes guiding me and explaing why decisions are made its not for The faint hearted as you will always upset someone isn't that right Jerome 😀
Thank you to all the families new and old that we have spent time with over the season more memories made.
Katie may not of finished many races this year but I have to say how well she has handled it all and the highlight of the season has to be Katie making her first AMain in katherine speedway where she finished 8th out of 17.
