⚫⚪ JOIN OUR QPL5 COACHING TEAM | 2027 ⚪⚫

After a 2026 season that brought its share of challenges and change, Jimboomba United is looking ahead - and we’re excited about what 2027 can bring.

When our squad needed leadership this year, Nathan Ralph stepped up, taking on the role of Player-Coach and leading the group through the remainder of the season.

Under Nathan’s leadership, we saw some much-needed stability, continued improvement and some fantastic results in the back half of the year - giving us a glimpse of what this playing group is capable of.

We are incredibly grateful to Nathan for stepping up when we needed him and for the commitment he showed to the squad and our club.

Now, it’s time to find the right people to take the reins and continue that momentum into 2027.

We are seeking expressions of interest for:
⚽ QPL5 First Team Head Coach
⚽ QPL5 Under 23s Coach

We know the talent and potential within this squad. We’re looking for coaches with the commitment, drive and vision to build on the foundations already there and take this group where we know they can go.

🤍🖤 DIV 7 WOMEN | GRAND FINAL WRAP UP 🖤🤍

It wasn’t our day today, with our Division 7 Women going down 4–0 to Bayside in the Grand Final.

But one result doesn’t come close to telling the story of this team or their season.

This was a brand new team at the beginning of the year - a group of women, most of whom had never played together before, and some who’d never played at all.

Under the calm and steady guidance of coach Tat, they found their feet, found each other, and became a team that made it’s way to a Grand Final.

And they certainly didn’t take the easy road to get there.

It was a competition that threw a whole raft of challenges their way throughout the season, but time and again this group showed their resilience. They kept turning up, kept backing each other and kept playing with the heart that has defined them all year.

To go from a newly formed team to Grand Finalists in your first season together is something to be incredibly proud of.

Congratulations to Bayside United FC on today’s win and the Championship.

And to our Div 7 Women - hold your heads high. What a first season together, and what a foundation you’ve built. We couldn’t be prouder of you. 🤍🖤💜

It wasn’t the ending we were hoping for today, with our Zest Mortgage Solutions Division 4 Women going down 1–0 in a hard-fought Grand Final.

But we could not be more proud of the way this group showed up today.

They played their game, they fought for each other and they gave absolutely everything right until the final whistle. Sometimes football just doesn’t fall your way - but nothing about today takes away from the season these women have had or the team they have become.

Congratulations to Mooroondu Football Club on taking out the championship.

A very special thank you to Coach Barry.

For everything you have poured into this group over the years - the time, the energy, the belief, the countless hours and everything that happens behind the scenes, we can never thank you enough.

You have helped build something incredibly special in this group of women, and your impact goes well beyond results on a football field. Thank you, Baz. 🖤

We’ve reached the pointy end of the season - finals are here, big games are being played and there is plenty to get excited about! 🔥

We LOVE seeing our JUFC supporters out in force, getting behind our teams and creating an atmosphere our players are proud to be part of.

But as the stakes get higher, here’s a friendly reminder of what Protect Our Game means to us.

📣 CHEER POSITIVE
Get loud. Get behind our players. Celebrate the goals. Encourage the team.
Just keep it positive - there’s no place for abuse, insults or negativity from the sideline.

🧑‍⚖️ REFEREE RESPECT IS NON-NEGOTIABLE
You may not agree with every decision - that’s football. But referees are an essential part of our game and deserve respect at all times. Football Queensland and JUFC have a zero-tolerance approach to referee abuse.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 BE THE ROLE MODEL
Our kids are watching. They hear what we say, see how we react and learn from our behaviour. If we want our players to show respect, composure and sportsmanship, it starts with us.

What a season it’s been! 🖤🤍

We’re excited to celebrate our amazing Little Boomers & MiniRoos and their 2026 season with a fantastic End of Season Fun Day.

📅 Sunday 13th September
⏰ Gates open from 8:30am

There’ll be plenty happening throughout the morning:

🎨 Face painting
🍿 Popcorn
🍭 Fairy floss
🌭 Sausage sizzle

And siblings can join in the fun too! Sibling tickets are just $15 at the gate and include all the same activities and treats.
