Archie McDonald Racing Austrailan chasing my dream in the Bagger World Cup! Racing has been in my blood since I was 4 and I have never looked back.

My name is Archie McDonald - I am a driven and motivated 16 year old motorcycle road racer from Jindera, NSW. In 2023, I am embarking on my second season of
racing on the international stage, in the 2023 FIM JuniorGP STK600 Championship. I first started racing competitively at the age of 7 and took my first win the following year. While flat track was where my racing career started, accumulating 5

Australian Flat Track Championships to my name, I decided to transition into Road Racing in 2019. With no prior experience on the road, to my surprise, I was selected to race in the inaugural bLU cRU Oceania Junior Cup [OJC], the pinnacle Australian Junior Road Race Championship. I surprised many right out the gate at the Phillip Island official test, finishing as the third fastest rider. In my first year of Road Racing, I achieved 4th overall in the OJC Australian Championship and secured my first race win and round win.

2020 and 2021 saw me graduate into the ASBK Australian Yamaha R3 Cup and Supersport 300 Championship. Over these two seasons, my progression was rapid as I secured many race wins, round wins, and podium finishes to my name. With only three seasons in Road Racing, my determination and skillset to win grew exponentially. We knew the best option for my career was to make the jump overseas, with the end goal of becoming a household name for Australia on the world stage.

FIM INTERCONTINENTAL GAMES 2026 🌍🇧🇷

I’m incredibly proud to announce that I’ve been selected as 1 of 8 riders representing FIM Oceania at the 2026 FIM Intercontinental Games 🇦🇺🔥

From 10–13 December, I’ll be heading to Goiânia, Brazil, to compete alongside riders from across the six FIM Continental Unions at the Autódromo Internacional Circuit 🇧🇷🏁

After being part of the inaugural Intercontinental Games in Jerez in 2024, it’s a huge honour to have the opportunity to represent Australia and Oceania once again on the world stage

I’m extremely grateful to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. Now it’s time to get to work and give everything I’ve got for Team Oceania!

Very positive weekend in Aragon walking away with valuable points before the final dance in Austria 🇦🇹

Straight away the pace was on fire completing my fasting lap time of the weekend chasing the front, after being pushed back to third and already on the limit, I sat comfortably until the chequered 🏁

Once again I’m truly grateful to Joe Rascal Racing for the professionalism all weekend especially James Tonna for his laughs and massive jumps 🚗💨 😂

After qualifying P4 in the heat this morning sliding around side to side, I knew we were in for a fun race for sure, until something during the race changed my conditions completely and I decided to bring it home firmly in P3😁

Can’t thank the team enough for the work today and they are now preparing for tomorrow’s RACE!!

Little crash today 🙃

Was very keen to practice on a track I’ve been to before and focus more on bike set up, which was going well this morning finishing P3 +0.5 until FP2 was cut short having a little high-side mid apex dodging another rider the first lap!

Very unfortunate and plain old stupid but luckily unscathed and ready for RACING tomorrow!!
