It’s headed for the states tomorrow to slay some deer in the upcoming season, and for many more I’m sure.

This is the kind of thing you get if you order a ‘standard’ Flatline bow, I don’t make boring bows 😁.

Riser; Gidgee and Boree with a Black Palm strip and framed yellowwood, Miva Mahogany and Ebony mosaics.

String grooves, not just for show.
String grooves perform an important function in a recurve bow. They ensure the string travels and remains centred on the limb. They also contribute to keeping the limbs straight over time.
Though I think using an overlay to cut them into is a wise choice.

Loving the dark chocolate tones in this riser.
And Borree, the darker wood on the outside is one of my favourites to work with because it has a nice lemony violet scent when you work it.
