📸💙💛 Photography consent for Grand Final Weekend 💛💙📸

As we head into our Grand Final matches this weekend 🏐🏆, we’d like to remind all NGCNA families and spectators of the importance of respecting photography and video consent.

Across our courts, there may be players, teams, under-18 umpires, coaches or managers who do not consent to being photographed or recorded during matches. 📵

👥 Team Managers will check photography consent with the opposition team and umpires before each match.

👉 We ask all families and spectators to please check with your Team Manager before taking any photos or videos.

🚫📸 If consent has not been given, please respect this no photos or videos are to be taken during the match.

💛💙 Creating a strong child-safe culture is everyone’s responsibility. It means respecting boundaries and ensuring our children and young people feel safe, supported and heard.

📣 2026 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) 🌊💙

Wavebreak Netball Club invites all members, families and supporters to attend our 2026 Annual General Meeting.

Our AGM is an opportunity to reflect on our inaugural season, share ideas and help shape the direction of Wavebreak for 2027 and beyond.

✨ Nominations are now open!

We’re looking for passionate volunteers to join our committee, with all positions open:

• President
• Vice President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Director of Netball
• Coaching Coordinator
• Umpire Coordinator
• Social Media Coordinator
• Sponsorship Coordinator
• General Committee Members

All committee positions will be declared vacant at the AGM, giving our members the opportunity to nominate, get involved and have a say in the future of our club.

Whether you’ve been part of Wavebreak from the very beginning or you’re considering joining the committee for the first time, we encourage you to put your hand up. Fresh ideas, different perspectives and passionate volunteers are what will help our club continue to grow.

Our club simply wouldn’t be possible without the people who give their time, energy and passion. Being part of the committee is an opportunity to help build the club we want Wavebreak to be while continuing to live The Wavebreak Way.

Last weekend saw three of our Wavebreak teams take the court for the Semi Finals!

Wildfire faced Royals, unfortunately going down 23–37, bringing their 2026 season to a close.

Wanderers battled it out against PPNC Auroras in a close game, going down 6–9, also wrapping up their season.

And Wipeouts are Grandfinal bound! 🔥 After a fantastic 27–16 win over Assisi, they’re straight through to the Grand Final on Saturday, 12 September! 🏆

With four of our five teams now finished for the season, we’re incredibly proud of every single Wavebreak team & what they’ve achieved throughout our inaugural year. 💙🩷

Now we’ve got one team left standing — and the whole Wavebreak family is behind them!

LET’S GO WIPEOUTS! 🌊🏐🏆
