Whoops! - Looks like we sent it a bit too hard in the New Zealand series this year! 😬🇳🇿🏁

This weekend is the second round of the 2026 Australian Prototype Series at Sydney Motorsport Park. Unfortunately, due to budget constraints and no interested backers currently, I've made the decision to withdraw from the round.

It's disappointing, but we'll get straight back to work and hopefully be back for Round 3.

Good luck to all those competing, surely will be a great event! 🏁

New Zealand Sportscar Championship 2025/2026, open-class - 3rd Place🥉🇳🇿🏁

Last weekend was our final round of the series, which included an awards day on the Sunday following the event. Very grateful to be coming away with 3rd place in the open-class championship!

My first time competing outside of Australia, a new car to get my ahead around, three new tracks to learn and so much to experience for the first time.

Though it certainly wasn't without its challenges, the season yielded 11x individual race podiums, 2x round podiums, and the Round 2 victory 🏆🏁

Very thankful for the opportunity to compete in such a cool series. Huge appreciation for all involved in putting this together; Radical Sportscars NZ, Motorsport New Zealand, Motorsport Australia and of course all the category staff, volunteers and event organisers!

A very genuine thank you to Ross Tebbs & Edgell Performance for the opportunity, trust and support this season. 🙏🇳🇿

Hats off to ALL the competitors in each of the classes, well done on making this year a very entertaining & enjoyable experience. The sights & sounds of this series was actually incredible at times!

Congratulations to all the category winners, and a special mention for Steve Sharpe, Round 6 winner who only narrowly missed out on a open-class series podium.

Final day of the 25/26' New Zealand Sportscar Championship! And, a chaotic day at that! 🏁🇳🇿

We started the day strong qualifying second in class and P4 overall with a new PB.

Race 1, despite not getting the best start I was contesting second place into turn 1, but was the outside car, 3-wide, not left any racing room and was pushed into the dirt on exit. The shuffle continued down to turn 2, still outside, with rubbish on the tyres, I spun the car and dropped to the back. A series of mechanical failures for others ensured we spent the remainder of the race under yellow flags. 🟨🏁

Race 2, An incident in the category before ours left a huge amount of oil on the racing line at turn one which made for some pretty exciting moments but again the entire race was on/off due to safety car intervention, but we managed to move from 15th to 9th in only a few racing laps.

Race 3 started with an incident into turn 1 and the race was red flagged 🚩🏁. By the restart I was P6 and 3rd in the open-class. We didn't have great pace and was challenged in the closing laps. But, with the tone established earlier in Race 1, I got the elbows up and defended that spot to take 3rd in the open-class for the final race 🥉🏁.

Teamate Tim Edgell had electrical issues Friday and it looked like the car wouldn't compete. Saturday morning a last minute solution was found and despite missing qualifying, Tim came from the back to win race 2, before a different issue forced him to miss the final race.

A really difficult weekend for the team, and points wise collectively our worst weekend. However, challenging days like this show the never say die attitude of everyone in this team and even with the weekends issues we still had cars on the podium in two races.

As always, a mega thank you to Ross Tebbs, Edgell Performance and many others this weekend for their generosity and hard work. 🇳🇿🏁

Practice day at Hampton Downs for the series finale of the NZ Sports Car Championship! 🏁🇳🇿

A slow build up today, falling slightly short of the pace we showed last time we visited. But, car is working well and everything pointed in the right direction.

A busy day on the cards for tomorrow, qualifying and three races planned for the last day of the championship.

A lot of people only post the wins and successes on social-media, but I think it's equally important to show the errors and moments we got wrong.. was pushing hard and overstepped the limit. Keen to get back to Hampton Downs this week and straight back into it. 🏁
