Matches are played on hard-wicket surfaces around the south western metropolitan area. Keswick fields U10, U12, U14 and U16 sides in the South Central Junior Cricket Assoc

iation, and an U12 and U16 team in the Girls Strikers League. We provide a relaxed and family friendly environment at the club and cater for players regardless of age or ability.

Life Member #54

Congratulations to Steven McRae on becoming Keswick's 54th Life Member at our AGM last month 👏👏👏

Steve has played 366 association games, earning Playing Life Membership in 2019. Since joining Keswick in 2011 following the unfortunate demise of his former club, he has played 229 matches for the club, including 195 in Saturday cricket. He also played an important role in securing access to Westminster's facilities and establishing a valuable sponsorship connection during his arrival at Keswick.

A cornerstone of our Division 1 side, Steve has played all but one of his Keswick matches in the club's highest grade. Opening the batting, he has scored 4,279 runs, including 23 half-centuries and one century, with a highest score of 108.

With the ball, Steve has claimed 150 wickets at an average of 15, including six five-wicket hauls and an outstanding 10 wickets in a match. His best figures of 6/21 included a hat-trick in a semi-final. He has also taken 75 catches, highlighting his value as an all-round contributor.

Steve has represented Keswick in four A Grade Grand Finals, winning two premierships. In one of those victories, he was named Man of the Match after a patient and match-defining innings of 53. He has also been a member of two T20 premiership-winning teams.

In recognition of his impact on the club, Steve was selected in Keswick's Team of the Last 40 Years during the club's 80th anniversary celebrations.

His individual honours include the J.J. HepTrophy, Zadow/Liebelt Players' Choice Award, Barry Kearsley A Grade Player Award, Kevin Anderson Bowling Trophy, and two John Robinson Batting Trophies.

Beyond the statistics and achievements, Macca is one of the finest teammates and clubmen Keswick has known. He plays the game the right way, brings positivity and humour to every occasion, and can always be relied upon when the club needs him.

Congratulations, Macca, on becoming our 54th Life Member. The honour is richly deserved, and we look forward to your continued contribution as a member of our committee.

While we’re still celebrating the 2025/26 season, preparations are already underway for 2026/27 - and we are now officially opening applications for the position of Club Captain. 🏏

This is an exciting opportunity to help lead our playing group both on and off the field and play a key role in shaping the season ahead.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our recent AGM and Presentation Night. It was fantastic to come together as the to reflect on another great season, celebrate achievements, and look ahead to what’s next for our club. 🏏💙
