Round 5 Wrap-Up
What a fantastic weekend of rugby! From tightly contested draws to outstanding team victories, our Blue Tongues showed real commitment and growth across all age groups in Round 5.
Under 10’s
BMJRC 17 – 17 Narrabeen Tigers
A true arm-wrestle right to the final whistle at Narrabeen Reserve. Our Under 10’s dug deep in a thrilling contest that ended exactly as it should have — with nothing between two evenly matched sides. A brilliant display of effort and resilience.
Under 11’s
BMJRC 24 – 36 Norwest Bulls Red
A strong showing at Lapstone Oval from our Under 11’s in a tough match-up. While the result didn’t fall our way, the team’s effort and determination never wavered. Plenty of positives to take forward.
Under 12’s
BMJRC 33 – 17 Hunters Hill
First win of the season!
A huge achievement for our Under 12’s at Boronia Park. After a challenging start to the year, the group’s persistence and hard work have started to shine through. A well-deserved reward for their continued effort.
Under 13’s
BYE
A chance to rest and reset, with energy building ahead of next week’s return to action.
Under 15’s
BMJRC 57 – 7 Dural Rugby
A dominant response from our Under 15’s at Lapstone Oval. After last week’s setback, the team bounced back in style with a focused, disciplined, and structured performance from start to finish.
Under 16’s
BMJRC 7 – 45 Avoca Beach
Only their second game together, this developing Under 16’s side took on a strong opponent at Terrigal. Despite the scoreboard, their effort and commitment never dropped, and the signs of growing combination and determination are clear for all to see.
